By installing VPV units on the roof of their headquarters in Odijk, Sempergreen is showcasing the seamless integration of solar energy with their green roof. This installation also marks the beginning of an exciting partnership: Sempergreen is now the official distributor of Over Easy Solar’s vertical panels for green roofs across Europe.

By partnering with Sempergreen, Over Easy Solar is excited to push towards solar integration on green roofs, also called “biosolar” solutions. Our solution is specifically designed to harmonize with green roofs. The vertical PV units avoid conflicts between plants and solar panels, and users enjoy seamless access to their green roofs without compromising energy production. Additionally, the VPV system eliminates the need for intrusive fasteners or heavy ballast, and with only 11kg per sqm of added weight to the green roof, it’s the most lightweight solution on the market. The freestanding system also reduces the risk of leaks and wear, and the plug-and-play installation technique simplifies the planning, installation, and commissioning processes by up to 90%.
