XM-2 QUATTRO-200S with HM feet

Just a few weeks ago, our partner PlanPRO completed another installation – this time for a private customer in the Bern region. The system consists of 35 vertical units with a total capacity of 7 kWp, installed on an existing green roof covering 84 m².

The setup includes a Fronius Symo GEN24 6.0 inverter and a BYD HVM 11 kWh battery, allowing the customer to store clean energy and increase self-consumption.

The homeowner was pleased with both the process and the result:

“We are happy with our Over Easy vertical PV system. PlanPRO impressed us with their technical expertise throughout planning, installation, and administration. The price-performance ratio and the energy output of the system are very satisfying. Last but not least, we also appreciate the team’s patience and friendliness.”

Thanks to the green roof, the project not only contributes to biodiversity and stormwater retention, but also improves module performance due to the cooler roof surface. In addition, the customer benefited from Switzerland’s “Neigungswinkelbonus”, a bonus scheme that rewards vertical solar installations. In this case, they received an extra CHF 1,400 on top of the standard CHF 2,500 solar subsidy.
