Another successful installation has stepped into the sunlight!
A few weeks ago, we completed a stunning installation of both our vertical solar panels and a green roof by Sempergreen in Frankfurt. The rooftop, part of a 1920s house with a limited load-bearing capacity of just 70 kg/m² due to its construction, is now generating clean energy while benefiting from enhanced temperature control, improved biodiversity and better water retention.
Key facts:
- 13 units
- 2.6 kWp
- Two energy peaks per day, contributing to self-consumption
- Enhanced albedo effect from the green roof, leading to higher energy production
- From concept to installation in just 3 weeks – a special thanks to our partner Ligraf for handling the mounting!
Do you have a rooftop and want to transform it into a green energy powerhouse? Get in touch with us and we’ll make it happen! And if you're in Frankfurt, here's some good news: the city offers financial incentives for combining green roofs with solar power. Find out more here: Klimabonus | Stadt Frankfurt am Main
