We’re proud to share an exciting milestone for Over Easy Solar in France — our first commercial rooftop installation on the Côte d’Azur, in the Alpes-Maritimes region.
The project features 35 VPV units with a total capacity of 8.96 kWp, installed on the rooftop of a beautiful seaside residence. Our vertical solar solution was selected not only for its energy performance, but also for its elegant and discreet appearance. Since the roof is highly visible from the surrounding neighbourhood, conventional solar panels were not considered visually suitable — making our VPV system the perfect fit.
The installation was completed smoothly together with our partner SunVibe OÜ, and the villa is now generating its own clean electricity directly by the Mediterranean Sea. 🌊☀️
This project also marks another important step for Over Easy Solar in France, following the successful achievement of our ETN certification — an important recognition for photovoltaic systems that supports insurance approval and project implementation in the French market.
Projects like this show how rooftop solar can combine aesthetics, performance, and simplicity — helping bring clean energy to places where traditional systems may not fit. 🌱⚡
