Ballyogan Business Park is now home to a rooftop that brings together performance, nature, and innovation—and we’re especially proud to say this is our first installation in Ireland.
The project features 21 vertical VPV units with a total capacity of 5,376 kWp, seamlessly integrated with a living green roof. Rather than competing for space, solar and nature work in synergy: the green roof manages rainwater, improves thermal regulation, and creates space for biodiversity, while the vertical panels generate clean electricity without shading the sedum below.
Together, they perform even better. The vegetation helps cool the panels and reflects additional sunlight onto them (albedo effect), boosting overall energy output.
The result is more than a solar installation—it’s a future-ready rooftop that turns unused space into a high-performing asset, and a milestone project as we expand our footprint into Ireland.
