We recently upgraded an existing green roof with minimal intervention and maximum impact. Despite a 5.7-degree pitch and strict weight limits, our lightweight vertical system made it entirely possible.
In collaboration with SamenStromen and Sempergreen, we installed 247 units delivering a total capacity of 63.2 kWp. This unique setup provides double daily energy peaks to maximize self-consumption, while also harnessing the green roof's natural reflectivity (albedo effect) to boost overall power generation.
Today, this roof proves that thriving greenery and clean energy can perfectly reinforce each other. ⚡️
