We’re excited to share our latest installation in Spijk (Netherlands), completed in collaboration with our trusted partner Sempergreen.

This rooftop project combines 55 vertical units with a lightweight sedum roof, achieving the perfect balance of green design and smart solar technology. The green roof improves temperature control, rainwater management, and biodiversity, while reflecting some sunlight onto the panels to boost efficiency through the albedo effect.

The vertical panels also support the health of the sedum: they provide partial shading to prevent drying, without creating areas of permanent shadow as with conventional tilted panels, allowing the plants to grow evenly without covering the modules.

Maintenance is straightforward and practical - vertical panels keep the roof fully accessible for inspections, repairs, and sedum care, ensuring a low-maintenance, high-performing system.
